Are you still using anything older than a 16xx nvidia gpu? What are you doing?
>What are you doing?Playing video games
>>730519901clearly not
>>730519952I just checked out e33 and finished nioh 2 on 1070ti
End of support just means no more updates which nowadays is a good thing because Nshitia is just vibecoding their drivers now.
>>730519819>wait where did the 10 series go, surely my previous 1080 isn't THAT o->gtx 1080: released 10 years ago
>>730519819>1660 TiHow much longer should I hold out?
I was using this for like 15 years up until it died recently before finally upgrading to a 5080It could run indie games and Only On PlayStation 5* (and PC and Playstation 4) games on 1080p max settings so I didn't need more
>>730521259Either buy now or else...
>>730519819I have a geforce 6200 in my XP/98 gaming rig, and an old AMD R7 250 in my modern gaming machine.
>>7305198191070 and will probably stop gaming after it desintegrates =D
I was but... It finally gave up.
>>730519819i'm using a 5060ti. my 1060 finally gave out on me 3 months ago.
I'm still using a 970 ten years laterStill plays everything I want to play
>>730520076>no more updatesI feel like that's a good thing for anything nowadays. I've lost count of the number of times my phone or windows or a game or anything updates and something fucking breaks or I lose some functionality. If a product receives updates I see it as a bad thing.
>>730525530>970It was good.
>>730525530>>730528449It was good, played BG3 on high settings even. But I wanted to play CP2077 and it just couldn't compute the engine, you need at least at 20X0 to play it.I put it on eBay and it sold relatively quickly for an old ass card. Got a 3060 in replacement for what eventually cost me 200€ at the time. Now you can get one even cheaper. And I even upgraded the 3060 to a 5070. Same VRAM but the tech is better. If I sell the 3060 it would make me a 300€ modern 50X0I don't understand sticking to obsolete GPUs. You can game on a budget.
