Its mostly hated by fags who think Fallout 2 is good despite the fact that everything they complain about would feel right at home in Fallout 2

I really disliked the pulse weaponry in Fallout 2, it was aesthetically an extremely disappointing design when everything else was generally very cool and grounded. Fallout 3 somehow managed to make all Energy Weapons even worse and we've been stuck with that ever since. Though the design of the rifles and pistols grew on me I still think there should be a design that gets rid of the visible wiring and puts a hatch over the battery slot.

I hate it because I don't like open world games or casual console shooters
>>
Dumbed down console trash. Made for retards who enjoy positive feedback loops.

I dont hate the game at all, i just think its inferior to all the other fallout games. My biggest problem is the bad writing, the bad story, the subway tunnel sections, and the lack of interesting side missions

the best part is the super grim rusty atmosphere in the hollow shell of a fascist nationalistic USA

Oblivion with guns is dogshit zoomerslop

Nothing is more casual than the first two Fallouts

Fallout 1&2 are actual RPGs focused on immersion. They aren't difficult, but consoletards would still be filtered since it has an obvious IQ barrier.

Fallout 3
>best intro in a fallout game, maybe in RPGs ever
Fallout 2
>worst intro in the history of electronical entertainment products

i'd say the 3d games where your stats don't matter and you have quest markers every second are more casual than the game that still filters retards with a simple tutorial somehow

I found fallout 3 mid despite being a zoomer and it being my first Fallout and second Bethesda game, because there really just wasn't anything interesting to do there outside of nuking Megaton. Yes I am special.
>>
Megaton?
Like MAGAton?
Fucking chud ass game developers.
>>
>>730520317
Not really: the people who liked the first two fallouts have mostly moved on with their lives and found other games to play. The perpetual seethe fallout 3 generates comes almost exclusively from new vegas fags nowadays
>>
>>730523003
I concur with you being special

Fallout 2 and 3 are both good

all the people complaining about missing the rats in the beginning of Fallout 1 shows how bad many people are at simple RPGs
>>
>>730524069
Probably people taking jinxed cause they think "haha it make game funny".
>>
>>730524069
Why is anyone fighting the fucking rats?
Just run past them or curbstomp them, they're like 25 exp a kill and give you nothing.
>>
Turd golem shitjeet thread.

I mean my memories of FO3 are largely great outside of that one spaceship expansion and the original ending.

My memories of FO:NV meanwhile are that it was completely broken on X360 back in the day. So I really can't act like i thought it was superior to FO3.
>>
>>730526070
The only game I remember crashing all the time on the 360 was skyrim. Though, getting into the ultra lux dining room in NV did take a couple of tries. Specially that room, idk why.
>>
All I remember is being filtered by the subway tunnels. I recall following the quest marker and getting incredibly bored with the bland landscape and lack of story. Meanwhile on release I played through all of Fallout New Vegas and enjoyed it. I was incredibly hyped for Fallout 4 because I thought it would be like New Vegas, only many years after being disappointed by Fallout 4 did I really look into the game design and developers behind the respective games, post rationalizing.
>>
>>730525325
Games since the early 2000 present enemies as not being optional so normies automatically think they're required to fight the rats even though they're not lmao.
>>
NV is the real 3
