The newest planet (Amphoreus) kinda dragged on, and the game can be pretty melodramatic at times, but I personally like the style of the game. What helps is that protagonist is part of a space faring crew, so no matter what planet you visit, there's some consistent characters along in the story. I found myself interested in the main story up to the end before it goes to China, the animated cutscenes and comics were cool, but all the effortless sidequests of just wordswordswords and weird translations that make you feel like you live in a city full of autists was mind numbing.I started playing Wuwa instead and the sidequests have the exact same issue but find the general gameplay loop of running around a big world and fighting packs of monsters/pokemon collecting a bit more satisfying.
