Nimi's Garden guy here. I FINALLY found the solution and meta solution to this puzzle. Holy fuck what a joy. Favorite Puzzle in the game so far

DO things and define things and question goals. Actually push level elements around, do NOT just stare frustrated at a puzzle screen. Only allowing yourself to really try things AFTER you have a full idea on what you want to do is a horrible idea in this game.Do things and let ideas come in concert with doing things. That will still sometimes not work and what you need to do is reframe or even trash your assumptions. Ask yourself meta questions; "what am I not considering" "what would the dev think is the COOLEST thing to make the player do in this situation?".Do all these things and Baba will kneel before you in short order.
