malachor...
>>
>>730612093
It's not about picking a side, it's about thinking how your actions affect the world, regardless of their allignment
>>
>>730620324
Then why does she bitch at me for making dark side choices
>>
apathy

Most /v/ermin's only knowledge of a game is parroting its memes, they've never actually played it.
>>
>be me

>side with Kreia
>party rapes me
>load back save
>don't want to side against Kreia
>don't pick a side
>apathy is death
>asshole: gaped
>>
Over 20 years later and retards still fail to understand Kreia.
>>
>>730612093
People STILL dont understand this character how is this fucking possible??
She explicity tells you she is AGAINST fence sitting, "apathy is death". She WANTS you to pick a side, but to do so wholeheartedly and with your own will, understanding the consequences of your actions, not merely picking a side for the light side or dark side points because its an rpg.
Both in universe and on a meta level she is there to encourage you to think about your choices, she NEVER discourages you from making a choice. She criticises you making choices without considering their far reaching consequences. If you pick the dialogue choices to show that you understand this, she doesnt criticise you she praises you.
Gamers are just fucking stupid and cant wrap their heads around anything even slightly nuanced.

You're so smart Chris
>>
>>730612093
I will fuck the Handmaiden and you will feel every second of it.
>>
>>730621520
Because you made it for no reason, there was nothing to be gained from the choice.
She doesnt bitch at you when you do a dark side action that benefits you or others, like manipulating the mercs on dantooine.

>KotOR 2
>good
It's the The Last Jedi of Star Wars video games. Subverting expectations "hate everything that makes Star Wars 'Star Wars'" Avellone nonsense.

I'm not really into grannies but something about Kreia and Flemeth works for me. Theresa from Fable 2 & 3 also.

The Force exists in the entire universe since its a concept in the galaxy of the Vong and others mentioned in the EU. That means The Force is guiding or intervening and coexisting with life on a scale that minds can barely even fathom. Imagine the SW galaxy having septillions of sapient lives as a start, multiply that by the billions of galaxies in existence, all of which have the living Force. And when you die you become one with it. I can understand Kreias frustration especially when it does things like creating random Chosen Ones or cause the rise of Galactic Empires and such.

>>730625531
She'd have a great point if the game's morality system was not puppy kicking cartoon villainism VS being a pathologically altuisitic little angel at every damn turn, and if it embraced the complexity Kreia embodies. But this is not the case.

Then, the game's design is shit because it actively punishes you for not fully commiting to either side, by making your character much, much weaker. Even more importantly, you miss out on a massive amount of content by not commiting fully. Thae game doesn't have a neautral ending, either. It fully expects you to be either a puppy kicker or a retarded do-gooder.
>>
>>730623272
is the joke here that you're entrenched in this games memes and didn't understand her lessons, or are you just unfamiliar with paraphrasing?
>>
>>730625649
The Jedi Council were going to psychically rape me I think I was well within my rights to flash fry them but Kreia calls me a failure for it
>>
Holy shit Star Wars is fucking lame
>>
>>730625734
That comparison is more credit than TLJ deserves, honestly.
>>
>>730626472
She wanted the Jedi to see the fault in their teachings, she didn't want them dead. She had hoped for them to see reason and accept the blame they cast on others.
>>
>>730625924
It does have a neutral ending, you should try playing the game as neutral and picking the right options. You're just straight up wrong. The game offers you tons of choice, opposed to the first game where the morality was like you described.
