Hello all. For no particular reason I decided to try to map out the different connections between the settings in Super Smash Bros. Like how Mario and Donkey Kong are in the same world and stuff. What I realized though is I probably need to chat with people who are fans of the different franchises to know where more of the crossover stuff happens, because it's probably something I can't just google and find the right answers for. Here's what I got so far->Mario and Luigi are actually from Earth, the same one as Little Mac (mario served as a ref for Little Mac, and he fought Donkey Kong). All the other Mario characters and DK characters live in the world of the Mushroom kingdom, and the two are connected by warp pipes. I'm tempted to throw the Ice-Cimbers somewhere here for fun too, just cause there's not a lot of lore and it would be an easy thing to throw in, but I don't think there's anything official there. >The Fire Emblem characters live in a multiverse where they are fictional characters in each-others settings, with Marth, Ike, Chrom, Robin, and Lucina all being in the same world just in different timelines. >Zelda characters live in the various timelines in hyrules, but no cross-dimensional stuff with other franchises. >Samus and her characters are in the world of Metroid, which MIGHT be the same as the one in F-Zero (they share several traits), which in turn MIGHT have a connection to the world of F-Zero thanks to a racer in F-Zero having the name of Fox's dad. >Kirby Characters live in a planet in space, but far as I see no crossovers with other franchises.

All your wall of text really says is that you haven't played 80% of the franchises represented in Smash. Kirby alone has crossed over with most of the other Nintendo series.
