Instead, it's not lonesome at all, you're surrounded by things that constantly want you dead in an environment so hostile it borderlines on cartoonish. There's a point where you get through a tunnel with a deathclaw that gets mauled by the tunnelers as an introduction and you think well that's the big incoming threat then and then you get out and you're now on an overpass full of fucking deathclaws and landmines. At that point it becomes apparent the DLC is not designed as a coherent narrative location but instead an amusement park ride intentionally full of OSHA violations.
