I played this game for the first time, and I wanted to love it so badly. The first half of the game is a genuine 10/10, but after the Andrei fight it slips and becomes a hallway combat simulator. Anyway, lets talk about it, because it certainly can claim to be one of the best RPGs ever made.
Many combat problems can be fixed by focusing on guns in the late game, most of the room layouts are focused on having cover which not ever clan can use, but every clan can use guns to utilize those layouts effectively.

>>730632365I funnily just finished a replay with Clan Quest and it just reinforced what you said in my mind, although I've got a much greater soft-touch for the first half and a few parts of the second (Chinatown is barebones, but still enjoyable, and the Werewolf encounter is still one of the game's standout moments). As for the mod itself, the Sabbat added content was okay. Certainly better than having to do the Hollowbrook Hotel, even if the writing is overall not great and Hazel in particular could've used someone taking a chainsaw to his dialogue to make it bearable.
I bought thsi game on sale tried to download it with mods and it crashed is vanilla game fun?
