There's not a lot you could do for Wars without massively revamping the franchise, even making it more action focused like Battalion Wars on Gamecube and Wii did.Honestly maybe an X-Com/Valkyria Chronicles-esque venture like Codename STEAM might've given the franchise better life or a way to pivot into a more marketable kind of gameplay. Certainly would've done better than Codename STEAM anyway. Valkyria Chronicles 1 and 4 cleared a million so there was an appetite for those kinds of games and who else but Nintendo to eat Sega's lunch?

I was wanting to buy it but by the time the game came out I lost all interest in it. Plus no multiplayer so it's like meh I'll just leave this one in childhood.

Played it like a rollslop game. Took forever but I lost nobody.
