Kiryu is so corny, holy shit. All he does is stare into infinity, squint as if he's trying really hard to think of something profound to say, then drop some meaningless platitude, turn 360 degrees and walk away. I was rewatching the Yakuza 0 ending, and this is what he had to say:"All it means is I can't run away. If I do this without running away, then whatever path is left... That's the one I'm meant to walk" [...] "In terms of setting things straight, that's the best I got right now. But, I want to stick it out. Find my own way as a yakuza. Different from Kazama-san's. Make my own style of yakuza"This is AI generated dialogue. All of his lines are similar to this. Profound gaze -> some platitude like "I must follow my own path*. Now compare this to Majima's ending where he says absolutely nothing to Makoto, fixes her watch and refuses to elaborate. It hit right in the feels. The writers can do "show, not tell" when they want to. They just chose to write diarrhea for Kiryu.

>>730634907>Convictions>Literally just fear of commitmentlol
>>730634654Kiryu is an autistic man who's hyper fixations are martial arts, and the yakuza. He was disenfranchised with the later and has spent the rest of his life trying to not engage with it but is forced to again and again.
>>730634654Kiryu was in a conversation with someone during his ending during that moment. In that context, he would be speaking.
