SKG is bad because it requires every game to be in a constant update cycle or otherwise you're not "repairing" the game and maintaining it, therefore they would be in violation of SKG, which means singleplayer games have to become liveservice games and to be sold with a warning that they only promise 1 year of updates, before they then get pulled from the store. This will lead games to be re-sold every year again if they did well and you have to re-purchase them again and again, because otherwise you cannot actually legally guarantee compliance with SKG.
