Do you like gore in your videogames? What's the goriest game you've ever played?
Splatterhouse really isn't shocking by modern standards, but I like how relentless it is. Just screen after screen of nasty blood, guts, and bile. Used to make me feel sick to my stomach

When I was first playing around in PS5 VR, I got killed in Pavlov and spectated my own dead body: it was like a cannonball had gone through me from shoulder to butthole and I could see all kinds of organs and bones and whatever. That's consequences, that's catharsis.
Don't open this if you've got a weak stomach, this single screen changed a game from a T to an M.

dead island 2 is pretty nasty
For all it's faults Dead Island 2's gore system is pretty fucking robust and killing stuff just feels great in general.
I like gore when it makes weapons feel more impactful. The Last of Us is probably the best example of this in AAA vidya. If you're a gorehound, it's gourmet shit.
