Seriously every time something does a closed eyes character they always fuck it up by having the character open their eyes at some point but up till now Columbina was one of the very few that actually kept them closed the whole time. Now that's over. I've always been autistic about this kind of thing because if they always keep the eyes closed you know that's just how their eyes look, but if they open them for some dramatic moment it's like, what do you mean you could have had your eyes open and normal looking the whole time and chose not to?I guess this confirms when they inevitably figure out a way to bring Capitano back he won't have the cool mask either, probably give him a new body where he's magically healed and just looks like your average handsome dude. I should have known this was gonna be a pattern when they did it for Scaramouche but I didn't like him at the time so I didn't care.
