How will TLOU be remembered?
as a masterpiece ruined by the sequel
>>730645917It will be remembered for popularizing trends that held back gaming for at least a decade if not longer.
Thanks to TLOU2 not well
>>730646095>>730646140How will the tv slop affect it?
It was already revered and the TV show made it even more popular with normies.

One of those games future generations wont understand how such low quality pile of shit was considered popular, like Halo and Half-Life today.
>>730646254And Fallout 3
Fun third person shooters with hackneyed stories.
The game that triggered right-wing lowlifes
>>730648286That's been every game for the last 10 years.
>>730645917The game woth Sarah
>>730645917a mid 10's 'dad millennial game' despite the fact that it was made by a gen Xer for other Xers.
>>730646254Interestingly the game does have some enduring qualities despite the dated gameplay. The voice acting, cutscene direction, score, etc. There are alot of old games that have remained relevant despite having only something as vague as 'good writing' to it like Fallout or Planescape: Torment.
>Only played TLOU1 with no DLC>Never got that good memory tainted by the sequel or the lesbian DLCI dodged a couple bullets there.
Being one of the most notable piece of shit "games" that allowed hordes of millenial faggots, "dad gamers", women and other obnoxious normalfags who hate gaming to flood in and infest everything gaming related to this day.
Before the game was released they bragged about advanced enemy AI and innovative gameplay mechanics but it turned out to be another sloppy OTS shooter with some basic crafting and forced walkie talkie sections. I remember moving a lot of ladders around too, it was so boring. It's a litmus test for anybody who plays videogames.
>>730645917One of the most important pre AI games. All the shit we've been playing the past 30+ years will be elevated to franchise status (getting new AI games and movies), and the original big games like TLOU will become ultra influential giga behemoths of pop culture

I don't think this game gets enough hate for its game design>Section where there are around 9 human enemies patrolling>Take my time killing them without breaking stealth>Last guy, gun him down>Suddenly 4 additional enemies burst out of a door firing at meNot to mention stealth often broke, regular enemies would randomly detect me without looking at me or through walls
