The awful sound is not the only problem, the graphics of the game are all wrong because they dialed the brightness to the max to compensate for the GBA lack of backlight.
FF5 is fine, but far from the best.

The cool part is that there aren't only one or two paths like a skill tree, you can unlock any adjacent tile to the ones you already got on the board.Oh also, you have to buy spells/techs too, unlocking license isn't enough so you don't get to cheese the game by going for all the strongest stuff at the start.

My main issue with V is that you always end up making the same job combinations to get anything done. The "equip XYZ" passives should have all been earlier in points instead of almost always being the capstone, it really limits your choices.Random encounters also put out enough consistent damage that essentially require you to have a White Mage at all times (or another caster with sub White Magic). Are there any off-kilter builds that actually work that you can use before endgame grinding for ABP?
