I love a good RTS campaign. What are some good ones? What makes a good RTS campaign? What are some underrated ones? Did Arthas really need to purge that city?
Arthas was right, Uther was an idiot he did not even try to confirm the claim.
>>730646420>What are some good ones?Depends on what you're looking for. Usual answers will be things like Dawn of War 1 (with expansions), Warcraft 3, Total Annihilation, Command and Conquer (there's a lot of these just pick one) and so on and so forth.>What makes a good RTS campaign?I'd argue good level design that allows for multiple paths to success, as well as an interesting story and characters that make progressing through a campaign worthwhile.>Did Arthas really need to purge that city?Short answer is yes. This was a time critical decision that needed to be made then and there and unfortunately Arthas didn't get the moral or mental support during or after to not turn to evil. That's on Uther and Jaina.

>>730646420>What are some good ones?Red Alert 2 and C&C Generals, maybe even Sudden Strike 1-2
wings of liberty is fun just for the special upgrades. I did an infantry only playthrough and a mech only playthrough. blizzard actually did a decent job with the campaign even if the story was marvel cringe
>>730650984>Red Alert 2This but including Yuris Revenge
>>730648365seconding Spellforce, there's some jank/slowness to endure but there's a bunch of good high-fantasy army missons especially in the Aryn campaign.
