the ps2 version is obviously the best, but the xbox360 collection isn't half bad either.

I would just emulate it, since the pressure sensitivity is easy to work around anyway, but The Master Collection version is arguably better if you're willing to put in the effort to fix it with fan patches.

Delta is a mixed bag. Not terrible but utterly pointless.

PS2's Subsistence version is THE definitive edition.
The PS3's HD port is close second, since it still provides the OG controls.
Either way, you will need a Dualshock 3 / SixAxis.

The Xbox / PC re-releases are clunky as fuck because of the clunky controls, but serviceable I suppose.
DELTA is utter feces. UE5 jank that won't run even 60fps at mete 1080p without upscalers, fucked up art-style, completely butchered gameplay.

Master collection with some restoration mods. The ps2 emulated version is good as a free and easy to run alternative, but the vfx looks too crusty if you run it on 1080p+ resolutions
