Beards have this stigma of making male videogame characters appear weaker, ineffective and less intimidating. I’m wondering how true that is and if examples/evidence can disprove it.

>>730651453It's what I've heard from guys with full beards talking in confidence to me. It covers up the flab under their jaw, makes them feel safer. I've done full beards and circle beards myself. I definitely used to do the full beard because I was lazy about trimming everyday. Guys tended to treat me with less respect when I had the full beard, while the circle beard got compliments and questions about how I groom. I go clean shaven now as an in-between option. Easier to maintain and I don't look like a full beard bitch.
