Ouka was closed for real, some of its employees quit ahead of the closure and were picked up by Squeenix. Apparently working for chinks isn't that much of a stigma.Suda's Grasshopper Manufacture is doing fine, they became subsidiaries of another company.Kobayashi's GPTRACK50 is still working as normal, their game (announced at TGA just like GOD) is coming out on both PC and PS5.Nagoshi Studio used to have a chink director. He's gone now and Nagoshi is moving away from international crew in favor of hiring more japs.Another little known fact is that Nagoshi's studio went public in 2022 but NetEase signed the deal with him in 2021 and tried to poach him from Sega even earlier than that. Nagoshi wasn't kicked out, he spent some time preparing to jump the sinking ship.

RGG was internally split into two teams since around Yakuza 0. Jun Orihara is one of Yokoyama's current yes men, stuck with him since at least Yakuza 4, didn't work with Nagoshi on Dead Souls, Binary Domain or Judgment. They got him to improve combat in Lost Judgment though.If you check the credits, all those people are currently in managerial positions in post-Nagoshi RGG. Sato is the only one who stood by Nagoshi from 2003 until now.Yokoyama made all the public appearances during development.
