What are the essential UNC-core video games? There a lot of UNCs on /v/, so it's a good place to ask.
Battletoads
Dota 2
war thunder

See the invention of the gen alpha term 'unc' proves that zoomers are the main characters of this world.
hover!
>>730652345'unc' is only used by zoomers refusing to accept their aging tho
>>730652698Doesn't make sense. Why would they insult themselves?
>>730652030the legend of zelda
>>730652768if that’s true it’s a good sign. means they’re becoming self-aware enough to let loose a bit of self depreciative humor. the Gen Z hivemind has plagued us for years
>>730652030This comic is fucking amazing
>>730652030Pretty much any simulators and oldskool dungeon crawler games. The further a simulator is removed from combat simulators, the unc-er it is. IL-2 for example is a pretty unc game but it's nowhere near as unc as train simulators or microsoft flight sim.And the old dungeon crawler games like Grimrock are just kryptonite to anyone who wants action and speed in their videogames.
>>730653365The Don Rosa scrooge comics are by far my favourite. I love his artstyle and the way he tends to put little details in the background. Like, if 2 out of 5 characters are talking in a scene, usually the other 3 will do something silly in the background. Everyone always talks about Watchmen, Killing Joke and Sandman, but for my money The Life & Times of Scrooge McDuck might be the best western comic ever created.
>>730653365Don Rosa is highly overrated. He draws completely unnecessary minute details that serve no purpose other than making the end result too noisy and chaotic
>>730653541looking for the details in the background is my favourite part
>>730652647oh man niceRise of the Triad demo
>>730653552then why do I like it?
>>730653552I tend to agree. His stories are pretty good, but he really goes overboard a lot of the time. And his artstyle is sorta... dirty? If that makes sense. The characters look a bit too real for my tastes
>>730652345>the invention of the gen alpha term 'unc'Unc goes back to at least the mid 2000s.There is nothing new under the sun.
>>730653552Are you autistic by chance?
>>730653552Unlike many other comic book artists, don rosa was a civil engineer by training and therefore egaged in a technical sort of a drawing style. You can really notice it when you see him drawing indoor spaces or other architecture. I really like the style and wish more comic book artists used a more technical style.
>>730652030How Unc are we talking? I don't want to just list off NES classics, everyone knows that. From Arcades you should play:Sea WolfAsteroidsBreak OutSpace InvadersMissile CommandStar WarsSinistarTronMr. Do!JoustQ-bert
>>730653552I'm 100% sure you were never into arts in school and that you have no experience with arts in general.
>>730653552>don rosa puts more effort into single pages of his comics than modern comics pros put into whole issues.>and that's a BAD thing, actually!go fill your pockets with rocks and jump in the sea
>>730652030Stop trying to push this stupid meme so hard. In fact, see if you can go a week without saying it. There's a game recommendation for you.
>>730654340I agree with his reasoning and disagree with the argument implied in your response, since art does sometimes look worse if it's needlessly busy. But I don't agree it applies to Don Rosa's work
>>730654270Ah, that explains it perfectly. Because I always felt like he gets stuck in details that are unnecessary for comic books.Compared to Carl Barks for example. They have entirely different approaches to the drawings. Carl Barks seems more dynamic and conveys motion better, whereas Don Rosa makes grand visuals with extreme detail.
>>730652030The one where I'm doxxing and murdering you in real life for forcing a shitty meme.
>>730653552Are you being contrarian on purpose? I have more of a soft spot for Europeans and their austere art style as well, since I grew up with Rota and Scarpa, but even I admire Rosa's ability to fill his world with life and effortlessly include dozens of references to Barks' works.>>730654270This anon is also spot-on about architecture.
