Because it trades any sense of graphical quality for sheer mechanical fun.I am utter dogshit at it, but I keep coming back for more.I've been working on Melting B for a while and getting consistently demolished.Nearly got B and C in the same run that got to 5-3 with a Smart Gun.

Yeah, that game is pretty fuckin good. It is always constant action and satisfying. Lots of secrets to find also. And although a bit weird, I really like the audio and musical design.For the price it is well worth it.

This is the important part, instead of having 400 weapons that do jack shit, 95% of the weapons have a use and trade off. The only outliers are disc gun,pop weapons, and toxic. I find a super plasma cannon, the game absolutely lets me clear the entire screen and the boss.
