1. It's a PS5 exclusive so every thread is destined to be derailed by tendies and PCfags2. It's very derivative of 3D Mario, to the point that Team Asobi admitted as much, so this means double tendie derailment 3. I love the game and think it deserved GOTY if only to spite Sony's California driven live service & movie game direction. but objectively it lacks strong identity outside of the nostalgic callback and doesn't offer much in the way of discussion.

It's a simplistic platformer that looks pretty, has tons of attention to detail, and is filled with love from the devs, but what exactly do you think keeps up discussions? E33 and Metaphor are both JRPGs with long stories, Astro Bot is a 3D collect-a-thon platformer.
