Cant remember one boss in any of the souls games that gave me as much trouble as the godskin duo, felt like shit design to trap the fatty behind the pillar. At least it had one of the few good soundtracks in the game

Endurance is fine for fashion souls, the most important part of the game, but I think you're just missing the reduced equipment load talismans. If you swapped out to 40 vig/40 dex for example I think you'd find yourself in a better spot. Break points are 20/40/60/80 so if you don't go to renalla to respecc, just hold off and put more points into either dex or str, depending on what the weapon you want to use scales most with

You should have enough stones to upgrade whatever you want at the hub. You can also change affinities (so what the weapon scales with), add status effects, damage type, and change the ash of war on weapons. Or you can use the Sombre stones and upgrade a legendary type armament thats locked into a particular effect. I finished the game/DLC with this.

This isnt some autismo minmax thing, weapon upgrades a a really big deal, especially for fast hitting weapons because of the way defences work.
