They didn't see each others design, and probably just happened to make an ocarina playing hero with sword at the same time.While this sounds unlikely, consider this: The first Dennis the Menace comic strip was created March 12, 1951 in the US, but meanwhile in the UK, on the exact same date a completely different Dennis the Menace was also created. Neither creator knew each other, or each others design process. Sometimes this shit just happens.
