I'm playing Shinobido right now and damn is it bittersweet. It's so close to being great but it has so many little quirks that bring it down. The movement has the potential to be really fun and fluid but it's also too loose and I can't say I understand the decision to make your sprint so absurdly slippery. The combat system is also somewhat at odds with the way the game is designed. On one hand I understand they want the game to be stealth focused and nerfing you in combat to push that. These are the guys that made Way of the Samurai, they know how to make a great combat system, but that clashes with how often the game wants you to engage in combat still.Limitless scrolls are super dumb and I don't get how they made it into the game in their current state

Theres tons of tools and techniques to use in all the good Tenchu games when fighting groups of enemies.
