Why was this never ported? I had to wait years until PCSX2 was no longer shit in order to play it.
>>730685902Zero could be emulated before 2010 you fucking retard
>>730686680It had a ton of bugs back then.
>>730687518Not significant ones.
>>730687518No that was AC4(5?)
>>730685902>villain genuinely tries to become a better person after you beat him and thanks you years later
I thought 4 was average and currently playing 5, 5 just feels tedious rather than fun and the characters never shut the fuck up
>>7306894125 sucks just skip to Zero.
>>730685902Copyright problems probably
4 was alright, 5 was everything I wanted although I suspect replaying the game is very annoying, 0 started strong, lost me 75% of the way through then picked right back up at the end, 6 is on par with 4 imo (wish the game told me about allied attack, would've saved me the headache the aigaion mission gave me), and 7's breddy gud with the DLC's being standout.
>>730689412The Yes/No option is especially annoying and ruins my concentration every time it comes up.

>>730685902the ace combat games never get ported or remastered because the plane companies are giant piss babies and demand outrageous sums of money for using the likeness of their planes
Because it flopped hard, as did 6. It's not a coincidence Namco tried to court the CoD audience instead of porting flops

THE HOLYLANDOF BELKA
>>730696208I've read that American military doctrine allows for unit leaders to have some more autonomous decision making so they can be effective on their own. Other countries relied heavily on leadership and so when the leadership failed, everything crumbled and they are routed/surrender. That was just unsourced internet reading though so idk if it's true.
>>730696014>North Oseadat land grab
>>730696638Whoops I said leadership twice, but I meant the leaders of the individual units vs. the higher up operational leaders.
Should I play skies of deception?is it fun?
>>730697008It's okay. It's basically AC4 lite with added mechanics. The maps are relatively small and physics is a bit weird. Just remember it's a portable PSP game and you'll enjoy it, I hope.
>>730696638it's a pretty well known thing, the US military is compartmentalized heavily at every level. it both prevents a "the commanding officer is dead and no one knows what to do" situation, as well as letting the guys on the ground who know the best way to do something actually do it, with their directives being "take x" or "go here" and there being an attempt to prevent higher ups from micromanaging the fuck out of everything and tying up everyone's timenote that the 'attempt' part doesn't always work and middle managers are gonna middle manage, but there's a reason fresh out of school lieutenants have an enlisted guy with 10+ years in the service to essentially hang around and go, "with all due respect, sir, your plan is fucking stupid, here's how you should direct the grunts instead"
