too bad about the terrible voice acting
>>730686625The voice acting is objectively good. Why do you think its bad?
>>730686523It was charming in the beginning but after saving the red haired girl or whoever she was I just couldn't bring myself to care anymore. Game is just boring at its core.
>>730686704because he's a shitposter baiting for (You)s.
>>730686709Did you not like the platforming? At first I was annoyed at how much platforming there is but after I accepted the game as a platformer action game it made sense.Still I think the levels are a tad bit too long due to them and you cant really speed them up.
>>730686704The fake scottish accent>>730686748the scottish accent is one of the worst i've heard in media
>>730686523It's just another shallow combo game like every modern action game.
>>730686852are you scottish
>>730686523astroturfed garbage
>>730686986yes
>>730686832I really don't know. I play on PS5, I was counting down the days till its port. Bought it day one, loved the characters and humor, was enjoying it and just... stopped. Like something switched in me at the point I mentioned and I realized I just wasn't digging it. It's not bad, and I like their other games like Evil Within and Ghostwire, but I just got to a point where it felt like it was dragging and I lost interest. I'll probably try it again in the future. Trust me when I say I was 100% convinced I was going to love this game, and then just didn't. Still love my boy Chai though.
>>730686523>the last 2 chapterswhere white man badbrown girl comes out as a faggotyou the mc gets harassed and the character responds like a soikeksome jeet tranny 90 years old grandma is the new ceoreally spectacular. amazing game. only microsoft could release pozzed deislop like this and have retards like the op blindly simp for it.
>>730686523>the last 2 chapters are maximum ludoWish the rest was too so I wouldn't drop it. Shitty ass rhythm action game for people who don't like/aren't good enough for either of the actual genres. It's subpar in both.
>>730687287>where white man badif Kale is white so is brown girlthey are siblings
I'm stuck on the haiku part.
>>730687130Same for me and their other games too. Well, I didn't play Ghostwire because I don't really like open world games, but I was convinced Johanas was a god tier director in the making after adoring The Evil Within 2, but this game was just painfully boring. Its biggest accomplishment will forever be "the game that was better than Forspoken"
>>730686523>hrt rush>ludo
>>730687523>The Evil Within 2is it really that good?I played EW1 and it was okay
>>730686523>The cat got more porn than Peppermint and Korsica. What went wrong?
>>730686523I had a good time with it, and that's much better than I can say for the majority of games these days.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1KmRFjl0Mg
>>730687687Sexy cat.
I FEEL A MILLION MILES AWAY
>>730687469Samurai bots? When I first encountered them they just pissed me off, but I ran a couple of them in the training room to get the parry patterns down and after that they were easy.
>>730687682Can't guarantee you'll like it, but I wasn't that crazy over 1 either but loved 2 so much that it even elevated 1 for me. The way it references and builds on 1 is incredibly clever. I love how they did this "hub world horror" thing too, it's like a small open world full of scripted horror setpieces you can stumble on at any time, it's so much fun to explore those areas. The game looks awesome, has crazy cuts that they somehow made work on slow ass CPUs and HDDs before new consoles made quick transitions their "only possible on SSD" gimmick.I'd say it's one of the very best action horror games I've played.
>>730686523I agree. I'm glad it got some of the praise it deserved upon release; it's not flawless but it's excellent execution on a fairly fresh concept. Some games on its level of quality just come and go even with more marketing (I wish Kunitsu-Gami got more people talking about it).>>730686852>>730687097I understand your frustration, however I have already decided that Korsica makes my pp the big pp exactly the way she is.
>>730687097>>730686852nobody gives a shit about your accent. you live on an island.
>>730687469>>730687968The samurai are the only enemy in the entire game besides one of Kale's later-phase attacks that have a parry on the off-beat of the rhythm. Genuinely just listen to their attack pattern and clap it out with your hands and you'll have it down within minutes.
>>730687287>white according to /v/Never change buzzword man
Played this the second it shadow dropped on gamepass. Its funny how its now le comfy kino ps2 game to people here because everyone was shitting on it. I didnt think much of it personally. Not my thing.
>>730687097If they got an actual Scot Americans would probably complain that she doesn't sound Scottish enough just like with FFXIII
>>730687687Breeding Korsica
>>730687287I've noticed on Game Pass if it's not a big AAA game it will be pozzed and even then. I'm always thinking oh I wonder why this game was selected and there's always tons of playable female characters or sassy black women on the cover
>>730688007>Kunitsu-Gamithis looks good thanks
>>730688635Based. Enjoy, anon. It was my 2024 GOTY for sure.
this is a generational sex icon
>>730688007Was there ever a beach episode/swimsuit pack for the costumes?
>>730686523i think this game was boring as shit. i thought the musical time based attacks was gimmicky as fuck, straight up
Quintessential rhythmslop.
>>730688984I like action games and rhythm games. I don't like them together. I don't want to have to worry about perfect timing when I'm trying to use the best attacks and dodge enemy ones at the right time
>>730688984>>730689147Maybe it's easier for me to get into a groove but I never found it difficult to keep most of my inputs on-beat unless I was panicking fighting a boss the first time and it was more making sure I kept my strings varied and my resources managed. As someone who is very tired of parry mechanics I think directly tying parries to rhythm as a call & response-style system is an honest way to go about it.If there's issues I have with the combat it's the relatively clunkiness of the assist system (cycling between three with one button and having to deal with color-coded threats and who's equipped mattering for certain finishers) and the restrained amount of variety in song rhythm/time (the post-game mode where the BPM rises over time is a small taste of what I'd want).
