What games are you looking forward to in 2026?
Even if they announce a major game at the February Direct it's not gonna come out until Sept/Oct so 2026 is looking pretty barren.

On a whim I decided to break out my box of games and put in Link's Awakening and was blown away by the free 60fps update that I became addicted to Nintendo again. Outside of exclusives the DQVII Remake caught my attention thanks to the demo and I'm always down for a new Rhythm Heaven.

Nintendo has 4 heavy hitters (not counting Pokemon). 3D Zelda, 3D Mario, Smash, and Animal Crossing. One of those has to be coming this year, maybe shown in the Direct and releasing in the summer. I'm expecting a lot of third-party ports, Mario Tennis shilling, some new footage of Tomodachi Plaza, a new FE video, and a Pragmata console demo releasing on the same day. GTA6 is releasing in November and that's when Pokemon Gen10 is rumored to come out, so it'll be interesting to see how that goes.
