If I recall, /v/ wanted the L-shaped Tetris block/tetromino to win, because GameFAQs included it as a "character" to try to be funny, or to give an obvious character an easy seed to win, but it had a name. Then we went with Launchpad as a second choice when the Tetris votes were thrown out.
