You now remember Myst killer RHEM
No, I don't.
>>730693527RHEM?More like REM Sleep because it's so boring I fall asleep, lmfao gottem haha
>>730693527I'm intrigued by this game OP. Thanks
>>730693527I still haven't played it but looking forward to... someday.I just went around the map once and realized I'd have to draw a map because it's a fucking maze. Wasn't in the mood for it that day.
>>730693576There are a lot of Myst clones nobody really cares about anymore
What does it do better?
>>730694459it's more confusing kek
>>730694459Nothing. It's just a lot of boring environments with barely any story and boring puzzles. It's a downgrade to Myst in everyway.
>>730694459Nothing
>>730694459It's much harder, and the puzzle density is bonkers. There is barely any story other than a couple amateurish FMVs with some guy saying basically "welcome to my mysterious island!" and then you have a hundred rooms and walkways with symbols scattered everywhere. There are tons of decoding challenges and logic-gate access puzzles. Stuff like "I need the ladder to be raised to get to Room B, but that closes the door to Room A, so I have to raise the water in Room C so I can cross over and hit the switch first..." Note taking is essential.tl;dr RHEM games are great if you want an autistic buffet of those types of puzzles with almost nothing else

The 90s had tons of Myst-clones full of obtuse puzzles and mandatory replays because you missed something hours earlier that causes a game-over now. Like you're trying to save your world from destruction but there was some unexplained opaque route you had to follow or the world would be destroyed, try again.
