Honestly don't care that PvP is grouped with PvP. If anything I prefer to fight people who actually fight back. Running into people who just stand there, let you kill them and then cry about you PvPing them is boring.I just don't understand the people who play this game PvE. What's the point of doing anything in the game? The arc aren't fun enough to fight to justify playing the game for it. Collecting gear, upgrading it, buying guns etc... has no purpose if it isn't to risk it in PvP situations. There's really nothing interesting to work towards or play for in this game that isn't killing other players. That's what incentivizes getting good gear and blueprints etc...

My solo lobbies are still unpredictable, the matchmaking tries to queue you with like minded people which imo is fine.I get friendlies who lend folks a hand, people who just want to be left alone, and PVPers who try to take my shit. Whenever I see someone I’ll call out “don’t shoot”, and if they start shooting at me I just shoot back and most of the time they die. If someone wants you dead it would be foolish to not fight back and the matchmaking hasn’t punished me for doing this. (At least from what I can tell)It is an extraction shooter at the end of the day and player killing is to be expected but it’s nice that you can tone that aspect down depending on how you behave.Duos and trios are primarily PVP, this is to be expected.

So I only saw some clips of this game, but here's I see the ideal balance:- Farming PvE mobs for valuable loot (takes time and effort)- When people have looted up, this increases the incentive to PvP to steal their hard-earned loot- However, in prisoner's dilemma, if everyone believes in widespread cooperation, it yields optimal resource gain. Also, people could cooperate in order to fight the defectors (essentially why society works better than anarchy)- However, there still many situations where defecting might yield better gain for an individual, which creates tension and might erode trust in cooperation.- In the end, coordinated cooperating groups will have an advantage.
