Mediocre. The only good one everyone agrees is the best game in the series is Pirate's Curse and thats because it ditched all of the series staples. That should tell you all you need to know.
aggressively mediocre and small time when it has the potential to be more epic at least with its story, it just screams "we're not trying at all because you'll just get it for shantits anyway"

Hot ladies are a huge part of the appeal of the games but the games them self's are actually very good other then half-genie hero. Pirates curse is an amazing game which is kinda sad because it's the only game without the core mechanic of the franchise which is to transform into animals and fantasy creatures. I the devs could do a lot better if they make a Shantae game that is a lot bigger when it comes to map and gametime

They're all incredibly mediocre gameplay-wise and absolute dogshit in terms of writing. They need to find an art style and stick with it.
