Bitch about the backtracking all you want, but if you bitch about either Eileen or the ghosts, that's a genuine skill issue and you got filtered.

>>730705283I usually hate escorting NPCs but Eileen was actually a decent help in fighting and her uncovering more of the story made her useful. I actually liked dealing with the ghosts, it was an interesting advancement on 1 having the outdoor enemies chasing you that you could run from.But yeah the backtracking was crap and made the game feel too repetitive for me to ever want to replay it unfortunately.

>>730705283I must agree. The Room has more backtracking than any of the previous 'Hills, but escort quests and unkillable enemies are nothing new in the survival horror. People were just too scared of these basic elements. If you don't play it at night and in the dark, you didn't play it.

If the swords of judgment that pinned ghosts weren't bugged out and actually worked when you used them, I would not have a problem with the ghosts. The swords simply don't respond when you press Use 99% of the time
