Redpill me on the Army Men series, I played one of them as a kid (2D, top-down, story ended with a portal) and it was pretty kino, which games in the series are worth playing? And which one did I play? I want to pirate it and play it again.

I had this game as a kid, but i was too retarded to know how to get past the minefield in the first level. Didn't really care that much since the opening moments were so much fun to me.
I loved the top down games the most, especially toys in space. The earlier games were hard as balls though. I still remember playing the skirmish mode for hours against bots, was so much fun calling in air strikes but the AI was absolutely brutal.
