Do you consider it a blessing or a curse Sega won’t touch this game despite all the Yakuza spin offs and remakes?
>>730706548It’s a good thing they’re stuck on psp. I don’t wanna imagine how WHACKY WOOHOO they’ll make it.
>>730706548is it considered a bad entry or something? I've always been interested in it and curious why they seem to have zero interest in releasing it in the west
yokoyama basically hates all of the old soul in the OG yakuza games so yeah it's probably for the best
>>730706619no it’s not bad, it’s pretty great but they differ a lot from the other yakuza games. the combat is closer to one of those hip hop fighting games and is more 1 on 1.
>>730706617I'll never understand this revisionist history going on about Yakuza games not being WACKY WOOHOO. I binged the series and they all have wacky shit going on. Why are people trying to pretend it was totally always super serious? 3, 4 and 5 have fucking Revelations and they are some of the wackiest shit in the franchise and lets not forget the iconic manbaby side story coming from Yakuza 2, the most jerked off game in the franchise amongst egotistical faggots.
>>730706548This is just mini-Yakuza but with DEF Jam combat tacked onto it, no? It is a blessing then. The essence of Yakuza is not its combat. The game is better off forgotten.
>>730706548More surprised they haven't touched the zombie one.
>>730708119they were wacky with constrains, rather than "WAOW majima is a heckin pirate now?!?! with a cute chonky baby tiger as a pet!!?? how wholesome! this is of equal or more enjoyment to me than his character pre kiwami 1!"
>>730706548Is this the only RGG game starring someone who is under 35 besides Y0?
>>730708539He’s like 17-19. Easily the youngest in the franchise.
