How do you play Sonic Adventure in 2026? Do you actually emulate?
>>730712132Steam version with the Dreamcast conversion mod.Or any mods really, like gothic lolita amy.
>>730712132is it worth it to seek out the original on original hardware?
>>730712283100%
>>730712238This. There's no need to emulate since the conversion mod restores it anyway and you have the freedom to mod whatever else you want.
i greatly enjoy the glitches this game haswhat other games have fun bugs?
>>730712238Im tech illeterate and cant install mods
>>730712132How is it that the logo for the dreamcast version gives me this wave of good feelings flowing over my body? The sky and sea texture on the lettering with the rock textured backdrop, there's just something so nice about it.I can feel the wind on my face, smell it, hear it bow in tandem with the crashing waves.God it brings me back to somewhere i've never been but was meant to be at.
>sonic "adventure">adventure>game can bearly be described as an adventure, its more of the same stage by stage sonicslop only 3DI still love these games, mostly due to nostalgia and low standards as a kid, replaying them alongside games that came out at the same time period really shows how poorly made they were, but then at the same time theyre easily the best 3D sonic games, it was only downhill from there. I dont really care if theyre bad games, or im just nostalgic, I still love thembut man are they full of missed potential, theres so much more you could do with this, I remember the hours of brainstorming ideas to add to the game or for SA3, if only SEGA wasnt garbage and Sonic Team not hillariously bad developers, that actually improved their craft over time, and had good ideas, and listened to fans, and were competent, and were passionate, maybe we could have had a SA3 be one of those games of a generation games.
I don't think you can go wrong between dc, gc, and modded PC
SA1 hubs >>>>> SA2 stage to stage progressionDon't even try and @ me.
