I played the online test for hours and I didn't like it. Mostly City Trial, which is supposed to be the game's best thing. I did not like that it was always the same map and how everything that was going on was very hard to visually parse. I did not like that all that buildup from City Trial led to the players being split in brief minigames (and sometimes you'd just automatically win because nobody picked yours). I can imagine others liking it but to me it was a 7/10. Keep Sakurai away from Smash. Thank you.

I feel like the Artifact guy whenever we talk about Kirby because Nintendo shot Kirby's Dream Buffet in the kneecap by preventing you from doing 4 player couch co-op and 2 player online. The servers were active for maybe 2 months and then died out. The game needs a patch for offline features.

If you completely ignore equipping spirits some of them are outright impossible. If you equip spirits then most of them are a breeze. It was fucking garbage.
