Which is the best one? I've always been interested in playing Watch underscore Dogs, but never got around to playing it. The first one is on sale, and I got 2 for free some years ago.

The second one is the only one that is actually fun. I have no idea how they perfected the gameplay in 2 only to shit the bed so hard with Legion.

>>730722796The first part has the best storyline and atmosphere, so I definitely recommend playing it first. The great music during the missions adds to their charm. Unfortunately, the game suffers from many flaws, such as the lack of motorcycles on the streets, which was never fixed. The T-Bone DLC is short, but also great. The second game is the "real" Watch Dogs, a well-polished game with a completely different atmosphere, I really liked it. I would say that 2 is the best, but I really recommend playing 1 first. You can skip Legion, because apart from the cool system of recruiting every NPC, the game has nothing to offer, it's terribly repetitive and monotonous, many options from WD2 have been cut, there aren't even animals on the streets (they were in 2). The problem with Legion was that it came out at the same time as Valhalla and didn't get the attention it deserved.
WD2 is genuinely a very good game. Great open ended level design, great variety of ways to navigate it. Unironically the closest thing to an open world immersive sim.The characters and attempts at humor in it are pretty corny, although in my opinion kinda charming but I did enjoy the whole Silicon Valley techie utopism of it all. Would be fun to see a grittier version of it that takes all the dystopian shit they're cooking up in there seriously but it's fun for what it is.

I bought the 1st one on the Wii U many years ago, and while it's fun, there was a really nasty bug that could occur that permanently wiped your stats on that playthrough. Tried to contact Ubisoft about that when it happened to me but they pretty much told me they weren't going to fix that bug.

2nd one is the best of the series, but if you're playing it on pc, make sure to use a controller because the kbm scheme is so bad it makes the game unplayable.
