ITT: only the BEST 6/10 games
Kingdoms of Amalur
>>730723276That game would be such a banger if they didn't start developing it as an MMO then flipped back, legit sad.
>we have halo at home
Brute Force
>>730723218
>>730723218Lightsaber fighting is good but it's still just IDtech 3 slop
>>730723218>this and Ninety Nine Knights aren't backwards compatibleBullshit. I don't want to hook up my 360 to play old games, it's a huge pain in the ass.
>>730723689where did that woman come from?
>>730723816W
>>730723843Fine then. Keep your fucking secrets.
>>730723816From the CD case for the game's soundtrack, though some game covers also feature her.
Its my go-to PS2 nostalgia game.I replay ever once in a while
Unironically.
>>730723689>swords are sexy and axes are for chuds who get no bitchesSounds right
I remember getting this for free through a promo a decade ago and thinking it was a fairly average platformer that mostly had the visuals going for it. Funnily enough, I got the OP’s game through the same promo.
>>730724621Absolutely fucking goated game.
>>730723218unironically a great 6/10, love taking over a map like how it's done in Viking.
>>730723218I still fucking loved it
>>730724621I would say this one needs a Night Dive remaster badly but it seems NDS' heyday is finally over and they sold out.
>>730726069>Night Dive remasterShut the fuck up
>>730723452The story behind this games publishing and financing is worth reading about.TL;DR The devs got completely fucked over due to the publisher pouring their money into developing Lula 3D instead
>>730723218Cheating with a 7-8/10 but this and Return to Arms are still bangers.
>>730726302NoI want a native PC version
>>730726726>more refined gameplay>somehow I still think it's worse than 1This is so weird
>>730724923Mediocre game. Better isekai story than anything else Japan has done in over 20 years.
>>730724923The parkour was almost fun and the spells almost looked cool, also hilarious when you see who that character was based off of, actuall hot woman vs whatever the fuck that model came out to be.
>>730724923The biggest problem of this game, besides the abysmal writing, is its emptiness. There's fucking nothing in the open world besides some dilapidated houses with a few monsters walking around. You can't even really parkour much because 70% of the game is just a plain field.
The Punisher
Swerve peasantsThe GOAT 6/10 coming through
>>730723771>Ninety Nine KnightsThe music in that game was fantastic
>>730728705My first PS3 game and I loved it so much.
>>730732091>>730728705>>730723218Why is that I don't see games like this anymore? Am I looking in the wrong place? Is every AAA just GOTY bait or something
>>730732745Cause everything is so bloated it takes 10 years to make games
Pokémon Gale of Darkness
Elden Ring
>>730732745There are more midbudget/AA games around now than there were 10 years ago. Robocop: Rogue City and Tainted Grail are two good somewhat recent examples.
>>730732745Because games either cost 10 billion dollars to make or are roguelike deckbuilders. Weirdly, Expedition 33 falls into the same category as these games in terms of budget, we just forgot that it used to be normal to not wait 10 years for a game that will inevitably be disappointing and outdated by the time it releases.
>>730724923This game not have a fishing minigame, ffs. Best thing of XV.
kung fu panda on xbox360.
>>730734785came here to post thisI know it's got objective problems that mean it should never be higher than a 7, but I still love itIt really helps that they fucking nailed the feel of driving in a wasteland, it's just a shame about a lot of the other really weird gameplay choices; also IIRC Warner Brothers completely fucked them over, because they had a DLC basically ready to go and WB just cancelled it because the main game didn't sell well enough, they just threw away nearly completed work instead of just releasing it because they're retards, like most executives
It's Banjo Kazooie but good.
>>730724817I have that on Xbox. I remember picking it up used one summer in highschool and having nothing the fuck else to do but play that game. I played it from start to finish, thought "man, this game fucking sucks" and played it again. I really couldn't tell you why I've played this game as much as I have, it's a really shitty rpg with a lot of backtracking, but it's become a guilty pleasure for me. >>730734785Based. It's a really good game until it just ends the second you get the V8.
dodgy clone of narutimate storm with awkward controls designed around being played with a single switch joycon, but passably fun if you're a fan of the show and worth buying when it goes on sale for cheap which is constantly
>>730723689>What too many bitches does to a mfVs>What no bitches does to a mf
>>730723218I've heard it's a spiritual sequel to pic related.
>>730723218Why is the 7th gen filled with these games?
>>730725860Me too anon, me too. Even the pseudo-Matrix combat and the too elongated legs that ever human character have.
>>730739271I've heard Marcinko himself had a blast playing this game, so there's at least that.
>>730739271fun times
>>730739271from 4th to 6th gen there are plenty 6/10 games, the most in 6th gen.
>>730723218>Ratatouille>Harry Potter 1-3>Madagascar>Shrek 2(talking about the PC versions, I know the versions on console are different but I didn't play those)It's a bit of shame that the time where each family blockbuster had a chance to come with a competent video game adaptation is long gone.
>>730723218I remember only beating this game because the story achievements had strange gamerscore numbers. I never cared that much, but having a 6 on the end of the number set off my autism.
>>730739271I love this stupid game. You can beat it in under 2 hours.
>>730724621The guitar riff still lives rent free in my head https://youtu.be/MkyOaI_ixmY?si=r8Jm66337L4cWq8K
>>730723469
>>730741443I want an OG Xbox so bad so I can play these random ass games. As for this thread, I dont think any of these games are actually 6/10. More like 8/10 if you actually enjoyed them and beat them. I cant think of any actual 6/10 games I found fun or good enough to remember. I guess Akuji had a great artstyle
>>730741671Xbox has a lot of gems.
>>730726661>that fucking dragon in returns to arms
>>730723218I fucking love mediocre anime adaptations on the ps2
>>730742890I remember getting Duel Masters game on GBA. It was pretty cool even tho I didn't quite grasped the rules.
>>730723218Just finished it and I can't think of a better way to describe it - game starts out promising then just gets repetitive, the plot never really picks up, the characters just feel fine
>>730732745A lot of the space was occupied by small budget Japanese devs who either got absorbed due to rising costs in the HD graphic frenzy and went defunct, or have been banished to mobile game hell, since there’s not really a well carved out niche in their market anymore with the death of “true” handhelds where expectations of scope and scale were lower.
GTA in war thorn country is such a great idea I'm surprised no one tried it again. Alright, there's Just Cause series but I still miss Mercenaries.
>>730725623Finally a fellow hell rabbit chad
>>730746025I'm sure you know about The Saboteur. Occupied France was an awesome setting. Shame EA killed them.
>>730723689>2 axesdnikiiking clears
>>730746067I only played the Java browser version. Anyone remember it?
>>730746167I know about it and it's on my radar but I have to yet play it. Back in the days I did play for a bit other Pandemic's game from the period, The Lord of the Rings: Conquest. It was an aright multiplayer game, nothing special. But from what I looked Pandemic had quite some bangers. Star Wars Battlefront, Destroy All Humans, Full Spectrum Warrior. Really shame what happened to the studio.
It was a lot more enjoyable than it should have been.>there was a cancelled PS4 version>dev ended up making some of the life is strange gamesgrim
>>730747209Yeah, they made fun games. Be sure to check out The Saboteur. Get the GOG version. Origin version has a map bug that the gog people fixed.
Granted I only watched my cousin play it so many years ago but it definitely has the vibe. Make me wonder if the remake if worth giving a shot.
German bootleg Broken Sword.
German bootleg Monkey Island.
>>730724621Played this on an emulator recently, it rules.
>>730748238I liked that game. The sequel was inferior.
6/10 times, it works every time.
>>730733876Holy based. Love DS.
>>730747091I tried playing this for the first time since I was 10 and the grandma boss filtered me so fucking hard.
>>730723218The music for this game had no right to be this good. The opening theme is pure audio bliss. Shame the final boss is so fucking disappointing>>730723276I will always love this game even though it really feels like a solo-player WoW, because it's the game that, along with Dragon's Dogma, made me come back to fantasy RPG. I love the environments, the music, and the gameplay is cool, whether you play warrior, wizard, rogue or mixed. Maybe not as good as DD but still really fun.>>730726661I really loved the variety of bosses and environments. Awesome to play with a friend, although not as good as BG Dark Alliance II since it had a craft system.
>>730752136Nah that's more a seven, seven and a half
