It's not a "disease" per se, rather you're so unhealthy that the problem is impossible to ignore anymore. The threshold for Type 2 is actually way too forgiving. A huge amount of the population have too high blood sugar levels, even ones who aren't fatExercise, fast and minimze processed food as much as possible. The 3 meals a day shit that got banged into you as a kid is mostly bullshit, it's good for your body to have stretches of time where its not getting glucose and having to use its fat reserves, your body was designed to handle starvation, it was not designed to handle stuffing your face several times a day
