I think they're trying to figure out how to make a Souls game that plays more like Armored Core, if Nightreign's dash and climb is anything to go on. Maybe they want something like Dragon's Dogma where you can climb up large enemies, maybe we'll get short-lived stamina-based flight abilities. Either way, they want to increase the pace.

I feel like the dash from Nightreign and Stamina management in general are about to seriously change, to feel a bit more like Armored Core, where you can be out of energy but not be completely gassed.

The final straw for me was Shadow of the Erdtree. People forget how much people were hoping that DLC would flesh out some of the biggest mysteries of the base game, giving us more Melina, more Torrent, any scrap of GEQ, a proper resolution to Godwyn's story...
