>last project diva game was 4 years agomiku vidya is dead....
It'll be Teto's turn soon.
yeah, no shit Project Diva is deadMegaMix was a cash grab and the Steam version doubly so, the only redeeming factor being that they finally put an official version on PC so people could stop emulating the arcade softwareSega also sold all their arcades, so they have well and truly given up on PD.
It's all Project Sekai now sadly
>>730730873at least project sekai is a pretty fun game, it could be worse
>>730729926And that last project diva was a port of a port of a 10+ year old game.
>>730731293God i fucking love AI slop. Gooners are truly the ones who are gonna win in the end.
>>730729961unironically, What are the chances of Kasane Teto getting a game?
It's time for a new Project Mirai.
>>730731575Considering it's too much of a hassle to get her decent merch or to even show up in concerts, probably not very high.
>>730731662the only thing project mirai has over project diva is GUMI, i don't like the gameplay all that much.
>>730731575not even in your dreams/10
>>730732308>i don't like the gameplay all that much.I really enjoyed getting all perfects in tap mode, desu.
>>730729961>>730731575gorda sexo
>>730732563i mean, i still had fun with the game. it was my introduction to miku after all. i just think the project diva style of gameplay is pretty much ideal.
>>730731575it's only possible given that there is so much music with her now, but it wouldn't sell much with her standalone as a character. the project diva games were never huge sellers, they were specifically made for the fans, and the cryptonloids were always the major faces that sold these games.GUMI got a game and it sold awful. IA got a game and it sold awful. etc. see the writing on the wall here.
>>730732805>IA got a game and it sold awfuli remember that game, it's the only game i ever imported. i had so much fun with project diva on the vita that i wanted more. didn't like it much.
>>730731662audibly kek'd
what's your all time favourite song to actually play in the series?for me it's ura-omote lovers
>>730732880project heartbeat also didn't do well, so it's clear to me the winning combo is crypton + project diva specifically. you need miku on your cover to sell your game.the gameplay can be fun, the music has to be familiar, but it's always going to be niche.every attempt to reboot project diva or make a PD-like has been received with exponentially less success.it's also a fucking shame sega does not know how to handle their own IPs or make anything into a major success on their own.so a teto game is never going to work. i hate dooming PD online but it's just the facts.
>>7307332141925 is pretty fun once you get it down
rhythm games should really just do the 'release base game and add in content every couple of months' format. no point releasing the game over and over again with the same songs but with extra costumes or stages or dancemoves and shit.
>>730733543i think heartbeat is in an awkward place because megamix modding is so easy that of course people don't move on to the game the already have but with less miku
>>730733214Project Diva F2nd (or was it F? Can't remember) version of Clover Club, also one of my favorite songs. Miku's dance in it melts my heart every single time and I hate how the arcade version is so much more soulless and inferior.
>>730733620they do try that but as interest wanes they always stop updating. mega mix got 1 DLC & hatsune miku VR got 3 song packs, and unfortunately these are the only miku things that exist in an official capacity on PC.i do recall playing a shitload of stepmania as a teen and the appeal of that was always downloading tons of song packs and filling out a massive playlist, but that was inherently free & community-based. we have project heartbeat for that and as i already mentioned it's unfortunately not very popular.
>>730733543>project heartbeat also didn't do wellIs that webm project heartbeat? Where's miku dancing? Where's miku winking at me and causing me to lose my streak? Might as well play guitar hero or something if it doesn't even have miku dancing in it.
>>730734602>Might as well play guitar hero or somethingi am actually getting into that currently, it's pretty hard if you didn't grow up with it. currently taking a bit of a project diva break after my pc broke down and i lost like 500 modded songs that i can't be bothered to redownload right now
>>730734827i dont get how guitar charting works at all>t. drumfagclone hero needs more vocaloid songs
>>730730946>>730730873I don't mind SEKAI (terrible fandom aside), but I'd rather not play on my phone. DIVA is just more enjoyable, and it's a shame that it's a dead franchise now.
>>730734602>Where's miku flashing her cute panties at me and causing me to lose my streak?might be a big part of the problem. a seemingly high production value, official outfits and dances for songs i already love are what made PD so precious.PH has all these good things going for it, multiplayer support, workshop support, multiple languages, a full built-in level editor, but it doesn't have animated moving videos.even GH/RB had an autistic amount of detail to the backdrop. the band is fully animated and is actually hitting those notes. the drummer is actually alternating left/right hands. the crowd reacts to your performance.
Say your prayers, Miku
>>730735116>clone hero needs more vocaloid songsthere are quite a few i've seen. to be fair i went i a little crazy and downloaded 22k songs. sadly i'm not really good enough yet to play most custom songs so i'm sticking to the official ones for now.
>>730735423She isn't even half way to overtaking Miku
>>730731575zero but i'd buy it for this song alonehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Soy4jGPHr3g&list=RDSoy4jGPHr3g
>>730736175https://youtu.be/LLjfal8jCYII still prefer Override for my red yellow song enjoying
>>730729926Soon anon soon
