Why is this games fan base so adverse to pvp? I don't understand why someone would purchase an extraction shooter and then whine about and even go so far as to ask for the removal of pvp elements.

The rewards for stealing someone's shit and extracting with it aren't that big since resources are so plentiful that you don't need to resort to banditry. Getting the quest stuff just through scavenging is not hard and doesn't require any competition. The only reason to do it is just to be an asshole. I feel like if you're into the PVP in Arc Raiders then you should just be playing Halo or something because it's practically pointless unless you're looking to get clapped by a three stack who wasn't interested in you in the first place.

>>730734659that's how i felt about it in general. it doesnt really bring anything new to the table and as far as extraction shooters go, doesnt have the competitive elements of hunt or tarkov. i think that's why there's not much of a pvp scene. there's nothing to encourage it. i see more pvp in solo lobbies but even then youre just playing deathmatch, its not like youre going to get a big payday by doing it. i think arc raiders was just a coop shooter they were forced to add pvp to.

Having 1.5 seconds ttk in a game when you can hide behind corner and have perfect knowledge of your surroundings is a joke.Duos and trios work a bit better due to being able to help and cover for teammates but the trashy 3pp still feel horrible.
