you're thinking 2D
maybe they are triangular razors and not conical spikes
i'd fall over and bleed to death too if i slid on some lubed up floor into a pile of foot tall razors
>>
>>730735703
I didn't see the text at the bottom because I'm blind and thought this was an F-Zero railslide.
>>
>>730735624
Touching the side of a spike shouldn't hurt you. Picking up a nail isn't enough to make you bleed.
>>
>>730735532
The simplest one: unlimited stamina to walk or trot. Running in games can get you tired, but usually you get tired way too fast. Also, tiredness isn't a mechanic too.
>>
>>730735703
why didn't they just roll through it
>>
>>730736751
they were playing wilds and forgot that the run button to dive is an attack in focus mode
>>
Games with hunger mechanics not also having thirst meters even thought dehydration kills you faster than starvation
>>
>>730736893
pah. one survival mechanic is all you need until it becomes excessive. what's next, piss and shit meters?

What do you do in this situation
>>
>>730737350
Well, 2 of the swords won't hit you, so just tilt your sword up to a glancing angle relative to the far left sword, causing it to land at your feet safely.
The flying borb is now out of swords, so you can safely take your time dispatching it.

I mean..
It works for My Summer/Winter Car.

I've been recently getting into a game called Obenseur cause I liked the dev's previous game and it has a fair few meters too.

jump up and throw your sword at the flying orb

I never had a problem with this enemy type since I just mentally remember how the shots come out.

Is that any good yet? Lazy finnish drunks can't finish anything since INFRA came out. The DLC is seemingly never coming out and this game has been in EA for a fucking decade

>My Summer Car
I wish I liked this game because the car parts are fun but the rest is so fucking obtuse. I hate taking the boat across the lake to town, loading everything I need onto the shitty moped one at a time (spending 15 extra minutes getting it to sit on the moped because the physics are fucked), and then boating all the way back.

If we excuse the COVID hell period, it's only been like 4 or 5 years.
The latest update was a pretty important one and I'd say if you haven't bought the game at this point, you probably aren't ever going to buy it, my dude.

Nothing to excuse here, all the more reason to stay in and work on your autism hobo simulator. Also I'll never not be mad about Whiprock being probably cancelled, INFRA was my shit.
>if you haven't bought the game at this point, you probably aren't ever going to buy it, my dude.
I don't know why my buying it matters. I did get it on sale at some point. Last time I tried playing it (steam tells me August 2024) it felt really really undercooked, felt like an alpha at best. That's why I'm asking if it's good enough yet.

>>730738805
My b.
IMO, it has improved notably, but I wouldn't say enough to warrant playing more just yet.

Fair, but like, how many hitpoints does this poor MF have if stubbing his toe is fatal?

Don't forget the dust clouds that magically appear around the character whenever they land.
>>
>>730736670
No game (with the exception of procedurally generated ones) has a map large enough for it to be realistic to get tired from walking. Assuming your character is a healthy, non-obese human, of course.

Invisible barrier walls

Locked doors that prevent progress, the door in question is knee high.
