A lot of fun, and a sense of purpose. Like you're there, boots on the ground when it mattered the most. You're a part of a community, especially if you start frequenting the /vg/ threads.
A lot of stress also. If you end up not liking the game but suffer from FOMO, quitting it is going to feel like getting a divorce from a spouse you actually liked. On the other hand, every day you continue playing, you feel superior to everyone who quit and might come back later.

I think you should jump in on this one. Gacha games ride quite a lot on... confidence. How confident are you that this game will be handled well and will continue to be run competently for the foreseeable future? With a lot of these games, you can play 10-15 minutes and immediately understand: this game has zero longevity. I have no confidence in it. Hypergryph ran Arknights very well though, and I have confidence that the game has longevity. That makes me want to get in early and stick with it for a long time. Might be a bit of cope at the end, but it's the way I see it.
