It wouldn't be so bad if most of them didn't suck. Adelle is the only good one because you get her early enough to grow her stats into something worth using. Cid's starting class sucks and comes too late. Hurdy sucks. Montblanc sucks. Frimelda is okay but comes way too late. Vaan sucks. Penelo sucks. Al Cid really, really fucking sucks. And you can't get rid of any of these characters without hacks. Also they nerfed Nu Mou into the ground for no reason. Hard does nothing but turn enemies into damage sponges. You're still going to win, it just takes longer. And by late game the differences between the difficulties are negligible at best.

I never got to play beyond the first 2 or 3 hours because my DS lite went “missing”(my brother “borrowed” it) for months and when it magically turned back up (covered in scratches) I just didn’t want to play it anymore
