Oh definitely, some of the contexts in the trans community in which the term "egg" gets thrown around are problematic. But if egg-talk were relevant to this conversation, by now you would have reported an incident where a trans person tried to barge into a child's life to inform them they're an egg. Something I sure as hell haven't heard of happening, and something you obviously have no anecdotes for.
Think of it like in terms of the creationist debate. Has a biologist ever said that evolution works by blind chance? Or is that something you've only heard a creationist accuse a biologist of saying?

also while there are definitely people that just want to be dicks i think moat people that "barge into" trans kids lives to tell them they arent trans is because those kids were put under the delusion that anyone that doesnt call them by the exact terminology they used must hate what they are trying to describe with that terminology. i think thats very harmful to kids to confuse others not finding your phrasing to be correct with others not finding the way you are to be correct. when someone phrases something in a way you dont understand no matter how many times you hear it its not only common but reasonable and essential for proper communication to tell them they probably have the wrong words. you cant use this reasoning when talking to cis people because when they say what gender they are it means the same thing every time. theres not that same room for confusion. the idea is communicated without error and given that language's purpose is communicating ideas theres no reason to question the language
