>>730750795I'll be frank; the combat is pretty goodI don't give a fuck about most of what people expect from it, I don't plan on playing with people (maybe with the wife every now and then, but I don't care about 'social features'), and I don't care about serversI don't care about any creative aspect, my houses are going to be made of dirt (or stone if enemies are made to break through), utility > looksAll I want and ever wanted from it was a more 'unified' minecraft modpack, modpacks are great but mods rarely work well together, the balance just is never right (one mod gives you OP items too early, another takes too long to be useful, etc etc), and this is basically it, from my first hour playing the game, there's treecapitator, there's better sorting inventory (or whatever is the name of the modern mod that does that), my crafting benches can directly access inventory from chests nearby, there's also that mod that makes it so that blocks' 'health' doesn't reset if you click away instantly, there's a (rather basic) version of smart movement tooAnd the combat is pretty good, mind you I only fought a few skeletons, a couple of wolves and a couple of bears so far, but it's good, it's already way better than any minecraft modpack I've tried (and I tried a fair amount of them), and this is what I want, I get some combat skills and an adrenaline system, blocking actually matters, the enemy AI is not just 'run to player' like it is in minecraft, there's some feedback on hits too (both received and given, tho I hope it gets better still) This is still early access though, so I'm not going to spend a hundred hours into it, even tho there seems to be a fair amount of content for a v1, it's still clearly unfinished, but this is a very good start, hopefully the kike on top doesn't end up making paid mods and other shit like this, but this is way better than I expected already

If you develop mods for hytale it's sort of like making a roblox game, you can make tons of money selling mtx to children by having exclusive mods only available on your server.
