It feels like for some people who want an adult cast, they want it because they think an adult cast be inherently more mature in terms of how they act, compared to the high school casts. When in reality, they have a high chance of being maladjusted individuals who are all over the place still, for their age. Maybe some people wouldn't mind it, but for a good chunk of them, it feels a demand waiting to backfire in some way.
