The funny thing is, the most likely product WB will want them to make is... yet another Mortal Kombat. WB knows Injustice 3 isn't going to get the same sales that MK12 is supposed to get, and lord knows they're not about to take chances on any other IP. Just extracting as much money from the MK name as possible until they lower its value so much that it makes more financial sense to sell the rights to a Saudi oil prince than it is to make yet another MK.

Mortal Kombat has been bled dry and only exists as a vehicle for guest characters. The mechanics aren't getting better and the fatalities are dull and uninspired.
